Adilio Felsing (born Lopes Robalo), was born and raised in the city of Praia. Since his youth, Adilio has been painting. Despite having specialized in technical drawing and working with architects, Adilio Felsing never stopped painting. As a self-taught person, Adilio participated in several workshops and invested a lot of his time in acquiring knowledge about art. In 2011 he moved to Germany, where he took classes from several painters (Hans Scheibner, Jürgen Weber).

In two intensive courses in Berlin (Prof. Sailer, Andrei Krioukov), Adílio Felsing found his own language, developing his technique, which led him to his current way of expressing himself. In 2016 he held his first exhibition in Germany. In 2017, having returned to Cape Verde, in the tranquility of the city of Tarrafal, Adilio Felsing found the necessary concentration to dedicate himself to his true passion. As a result, he exhibited for the first time in April 2018 in the city of Praia, at the Palácio da Cultura. Since 2019 Adílio Felsing has returned to Germany and lives in Hamburg again, where he continues to produce.
